Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are. The short version: we collect what you type into the contact form so we can reply, analytics runs only if you say yes, and we never sell your data.

Who we are

Nexera Studio is a two-person design and development studio based in Dublin, Ireland, operated by its founders, Dariya Ivanova and Alexandr Osinschii. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the controller of personal data collected through this website.

Questions about this policy: hello@nexera.ie.

The data we collect

We keep it minimal:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, project type, budget range (optional), and your message.
  • Email: if you email us directly, we hold that correspondence.
  • Analytics — only with your consent: Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages visited, approximate location derived from an anonymised IP address, and device and browser type.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider processes IP addresses in routine server logs as a technical necessity of serving the site securely.

There are no accounts, no mailing lists, and no advertising or tracking pixels on this site.

Why we process it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote — necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). This includes a one-off automatic confirmation that your message arrived; you are not added to any mailing list.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it — only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the site secure and available — our legitimate interest in operating it (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who processes it for us

We never sell personal data. It is shared only with the services that operate this site, acting on our instructions:

  • Vercel — hosts the website.
  • Resend — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox and sends the confirmation email.
  • Our mailbox provider — stores our email, including your enquiry and our replies.
  • Google — Google Analytics, in consented sessions only.

Some of these providers are US companies. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by EU-approved safeguards — Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any project that follows, and then as part of normal business records. Ask us to delete your data and we will, unless a legal obligation (such as tax record-keeping) requires us to keep a copy.

Analytics data is aggregated and automatically deleted by Google Analytics after its limited retention period.

Cookies & analytics

This site sets nothing until you choose:

  • On your first visit, a banner asks whether to allow Google Analytics. Nothing is tracked unless you press Accept.
  • If you accept, Google Analytics sets its cookies to distinguish visitors, and your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. IP addresses are anonymised.
  • If you decline, no analytics loads — the only thing stored is your “no”, so we don't ask again.
  • You can change your mind at any time via “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Withdrawing consent unloads analytics.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • restrict or object to how we process it;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect processing that happened while consent stood).

To exercise any of these, email hello@nexera.ie — we respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top reflects the latest revision. See also our website terms.
